Tim Lincecum and the $1,000 Salad Dressing Chugging Bet

Tim Lincecum

Baseball clubhouses can be boring, and as a result of hanging out waiting to play the game, plenty of shenanigans occur. Locker room behavior is at times very fraternity like. That’s what happened in the Rangers clubhouse back in 2018. Rangers pitcher Tyler Wagner accepted a bet from Tim Lincecum that he couldn’t chug a tub of Italian salad dressing.

Wagner took the bet, and finished the tub. That’s a lot of dressing.

Pretty gross, but when someone bets you a G to drink something as delicious as Italian dressing, you can’t say no. Perhaps it was Olive Garden dressing? Such a baseball player thing to do.  You never hear about NBA guys chugging salad dressing in their locker room.
