A huge part of Tiger Woods’ legend has to do with what he has been able to accomplish at Augusta National. Tiger has won The Masters a total of five times, including his unexpected triumph in 2019, which capped his comeback to the sport he dominated for so many years.

While everyone wants to see Tiger Woods play in The Masters this April, he’s unsure he’ll be able to do so. Tiger is coming off yet another back surgery to try to relieve some nerve pain.

“God, I hope so,” Tiger said when asked if he plans on playing in The Masters via ESPN. “But I’ve got to get there first. I don’t have much wiggle room left. I’ve got only one back.”

Tiger Woods would give a little bit more of an update on his overall condition at the moment.

“I’m feeling fine, a little stiff,” Woods said. “I’ve got one more MRI scheduled, and then I can start doing more activities. I’m still in the gym doing rehab activities before gravitating towards more.”

I’m sure Tiger Woods would like to play in some tournaments before The Masters to test his back and get into shape before golf’s biggest event.

If I had to guess, I’d say we’ll see Tiger at Augusta this April. This tournament just means something more to him. He’ll do everything in his power to be there.
