Tiger Woods Takes Hilarious Shot At Phil Mickelson For Thinking He Won PGA Tour’s PIP Bonus

Tiger Woods took to Twitter to hilariously troll Phil Mickelson after winning the PGA Tour's PIP bonus that Phil had thought he won

June 24, 2014: Tiger woods speaks during a press conference at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.

On Wednesday, it was announced that Tiger Woods was the first winner of the PGA Tour’s Player Impact Program, making him $8 Million richer.

Woods’ longtime rival, Phil Mickelson, finished runner up for the award, still notching $6 Million in his pocket.

Initially, Phil Mickelson thought he had won the award. But the PGA had yet to take into account the tournament that Tiger played with his son, Charlie, late last year.

So, naturally, Tiger took to Twitter to troll Phil’s post he made about winning the bonus.

Tiger Woods hasn’t been very active on Twitter since recovering from a scary single-car crash in Los Angeles. But apparently, an opportunity to take a shot at Phil Mickelson was just too good to pass up.

When hosting the Genesis Invitational last moth, Tiger maintained that he would be returning to the PGA Tour. But even he had to admit that he was no where near competitive golf shape at the moment.

Phil Mickelson is also taking time away from golf after making some controversial comments about the incoming Saudi League. But we’re all hoping to see him dueling with Tiger Woods at least a couple more times.
