There’s a New Favorite to Land Deshaun Watson

According to a report, Deshaun Watson could potentially be traded to the Miami Dolphins as soon as this week despite the unsettled lawsuits

While the onslaught of Deshaun Watson content has slowed down a bit, behind the scenes there’s still plenty of activity going on with the Houston Texans Quarterback. Veteran NFL writer Peter King has the Eagles as the favorites to land Texans QB Deshaun Watson.

King, who admitted this situation is “impossible” to predict, has a “gut feeling” he’ll land in Philadelphia, listing the Eagles as the 3-1 co-favorites with the Carolina Panthers.

Via Football Morning in America:

“3-1: Philadelphia. A likely need, plus Eagles are in perfect position to deal with three first-round picks (if Carson Wentz plays three-quarters of the Indy season),” King wrote in his latest Football Morning in America column for ProFootballTalk.com.

The Eagles have been linked to Watson previously,  according to  CBS Sports’ Insider Jason La Canfora, calling Philadelphia “strong suitors” for Watson.

Eagles reporter Jeff McLane confirmed La Canfora’s report two days later stating that the Eagles “recently inquired” with the Texans about trading for Watson.

Still hard to believe anyone will take a flyer on Watson with the civil  suits hanging over  his head…
