The Miami Hurricanes are reportedly hiring Michigan OC Josh Gattis to fill their OC void.

The Michigan OC won the Broyles Award for the nation’s top assistant coach after the Wolverines went 12-2 and averaged 35.8 points per game.

The Michigan Wolverines have now lost both of their OC and DC as Mike Macdonald accepted a defensive coaching job with the Baltimore Ravens.

Head Coach of the Michigan Wolverines, Jim Harbaugh, had an interview with the Minnesota Vikings, but ultimately returned to Ann Arbor and chose to commit to Michigan.

Gattis, 38, was a three-year assistant coach at Michigan. The Wolverines offence ranked 25th in the nation under Gattis in 2021.

The Michigan Wolverines will definitely be in the market for new assistant coaches after this busy off-season.

The Hurricanes went 7-5 in 2021 while the offence ranked pretty well averaging 464.3 yards per game (27th in the nation) and 23rd in the nation with 34.1 points per game.
