The Highlights From Zach Wilson’s Pro Day Are Just Absurd

While the NFL world was blowing up with the news of the San Francisco 49ers moving up the NFL Draft board, BYU QB Zach Wilson was showcasing his skills during his Pro Day.Wilson is currently projected as the #2 overall pick behind Trevor Lawrence.

Wilson is being compared to a lot of play-making quarterbacks in the NFL, including Patrick Mahomes and Russell Wilson. Definitely high praise for Wilson to be put in the same breath as either of those guys, but he showed why today.

Zach Wilson was showing off some jaw-dropping talent during his Pro Day.

Zach Wilson’s ability to throw on the run is just different. He was asked about the possibility of going to the New York Jets with the #2 overall pick after the session.

“New York is a great spot,” Wilson said before adding that he has family in the area, and has been in contact with the team.

If I had to guess, I’d say there’s a pretty high likelihood that Zach Wilson will be the next quarterback of the New York Jets. It just makes too much sense.

Sure, the jury is still out on Sam Darnold. But to pass up on Wilson in order to give Darnold yet another chance would be asinine. This guy could be a generational type of talent.

Zach Wilson will be fun to watch in the NFL.
