Former college standout and Cleveland Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor was arrested today after allegedly hitting a woman, according to Pittsburgh’s Action News 4.

Pryor was charged with a “misdemeanor count of simple assault, and summary offenses of harassment and criminal mischief” after reportedly slapping a possible girlfriend during an argument. The alleged girlfriend reportedly sustained an injury to her left eye. Pryor also allegedly threw a deck chair at her when she tried to get into her car.

Pryor reportedly threw pumpkins at the car.

Before the incident, Pryor allegedly called the woman 50 times and sent 30 text messages that went unanswered.

Pryor was released from Westmoreland County Prison on $100,000 unsecured bail. He denied hitting the woman, but reportedly admitted to throwing pumpkins.

Pryor last played for the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets in 2018. He was with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019, but was cut in training camp.
