Prior to the NFL Draft on Thursday night, ESPN insider Adam Schefter dropped an absolute bombshell on Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. According to Schefter, Rodgers has been so unhappy with the Packers’ brass, that he has told people within the organization that he would like to be traded.

“Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday,” Schefter said on Twitter.

It is already being reported that the  San Francisco 49ers are willing to send a FAT package to acquire Rodgers via trade.

It was reported that the Packers told the Niners no to that deal, but if Aaron Rodgers really pushes the envelope, it might be possible that he’ll be traded in the near future.

Here’s some more details on the Packers’ efforts to keep Aaron Rodgers this offseason.

Per ESPN:

“Reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers is so disgruntled with the Green Bay Packers that he has told some within the organization that he does not want to return to the team, league and team sources told ESPN on Thursday.

The Packers are aware of his feelings, concerned about them and have had team president Mark Murphy, general manager Brian Gutekunst and head coach Matt LaFleur each fly out on separate trips to meet with Rodgers at various points this offseason, sources told ESPN.”

While Packers fans may have been anxious about their teams draft plans, now they’ll just hope that their superstar quarterback survives the night as a Green Bay Packer.
