Take A Sneak Peak At Iowa’s “Field Of Dreams” Stadium Before MLB Hosts A Game There In 2021

“Field Of Dreams” may be a little ridiculous, but I love that movie. As a diehard baseball fan growing up, movies like “Field Of Dreams” have always held a very special place in my heart. That’s why I was so excited when MLB announced that they were building a “Field Of Dreams” stadium in Iowa, and the Yankees were going to play the White Sox there in 2020.

But then 2020 actually happened.

Due to COVID-19, the game was canceled along with more than half of baseball season. Now the plan is to play the game in 2021. MLB released a jaw-dropping video on their Twitter today, giving fans a sneak peak at what to look forward to.

This looks absolutely beautiful.

The original game was scheduled for August 13, 2020, and MLB is hoping that the game can take place exactly a year later on August 13,2021.

The Field Of Dreams stadium is expected to be an intimate setting for baseball fans, with only about 8,000 seats available for spectators who get the opportunity to attend this game.

The game also hinges on what happens with the COVID-19 pandemic. Hopefully by next August we will have a vaccine available and plans for the “Field Of Dreams” game can be fulfilled. I think this gives baseball fans something to look forward to, the game should be awesome with both the Yankees and White Sox expected to be strong contenders next season. I know I’m looking forward to it.
