After the internet did its thing, the “Suns in four” fan has been identified as Nick McKellar.

McKellar has turned into something of a poster boy for the Suns’ playoff run. And this week, McKellar joining Barstool Sports’ “The Dave Portnoy Show” and explained how he didn’t start the fight with the Nuggets fans, but he sure finished it.

“These guys are walking past me and obviously they didn’t think it was funny,” McKellar said of his jokes during the games. “Meanwhile the whole crowd that I made friends with, initially they were laughing, having a good time.”

“I wasn’t being annoying. So, these guys were like, ‘You know what, I’m taking offense to this.'”

KcKellar says the Nuggets fans then got in his face and poured beer on him.

“Instincts of self-defense kick in,” McKellar says.

Nick “Suns in Four” McKellar then says he was escorted out of the arena by police but was not arrested because other fans admitted that he was only acting in self defense.

As “Suns in four” was going viral, Suns star Devin Booker revealed that he would like to find the fan.

Sure enough, Nick McKellar said that he might have something planned with Devin Booker later in the year.

McKellar says he might have a “collab” with Booker at some point later in the postseason. “Suns in four” guy might live forever.
