Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors were incredibly awful last season. The team finished at an abysmal 15-50 mark, and in dead last in the Western Conference. So why would Steve Kerr say he enjoyed it more than the year they went to the championship? Many are speculating that it has something to do with Kevin Durant.

Here was the quote from Kerr earlier today.

“I enjoyed last season, when we had the worst record in the league, more than I enjoyed that last season when we went to the Finals. Last year we had young guys who were trying every day, working hard and we had a great energy, great spirit and great camaraderie.”

KD responded to the quote by saying, “this is hilarious”.

NBA fans are all over social media, talking about the apparent beef between KD and Steve Kerr.

Steve Kerr would later reveal that he was ‘angry’ with how the quote was taken.

While Steve Kerr might be doing his best to walk back his previous comments, it appears that there is no love lost between him and Kevin Durant.
