Spain Had One Of The Most Brutal own Goals You’ll Ever See During The Euro 2020 Game Against Croatia

Spain found a way to give up the most unusual own goal I've ever seen during the Euro 2020 game against Croatia on Monday

While Spain is one of the few favorites to take home the Euro 2020 trophy at the end of the tournament, a brutal miscue during their game against Croatia on Monday was doing them no favors.

During the first half of the game, Spain midfielder Pedri passed the ball back to goaltender Unai Simon. However, Simon wasn’t completely ready for the pass, and let the ball trickle off his foot, and into the back of the net.

Luckily, Spain would bounce back from the brutal own goal.

After tying the game, Spain eventually took the lead when Cesar Azpilicueta sent a header to the back of the net following a beautiful cross from Ferran Torres.

If Spain is able to hold their lead against Croatia, they’ll be able to laugh off one of the most ridiculous own goals we’ve seen in a very long time.
