Social media was poking some fun at Seattle Seahawks coach Pete Carroll after he accidentally threw, what looked like, a white flip phone as the coach was looking for his red challenge flag.

The Seahawks coach was looking to challenge a play on the field, but couldn’t quite find his red flag and decided to throw whatever he had in his pockets.

Social media was quick to spot the fumble and were happy to make a meme of it.

After more evidence, it looks like it wasn’t actually a cell phone, but an electric hand warmer. It makes sense, but it would have been much more hilarious if it had been a phone.

The Seahawks weren’t able to get on the score board in the first half as the Green Bay Packers currently lead 3-0 at half time.
