Social Media Reacts To Delonte West Trying Out For Big 3 Basketball League

26 April 2012: Dallas' Delonte West in pregame warmups in Atlanta Hawks 106-89 victory over the Dallas Mavericks at Philips Arena in Atlanta, GA.

The former NBA player who battled addiction and legal troubles is trying to turn his life around and try out for the Big 3 Basketball League.

The Big 3 League is a basketball league founded by rapper Ice Cube and entertainment executive Jeff Kwatinetz. The league consists of 12 teams whose rosters include both former NBA players and international players.

West was arrested outside a police station back in October after banging on the door of the station and cursing out cops. Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has been able to land a helping hand to West and is trying to help him get back on the right page.

It is amazing to see West on the court again.

Social media also had some things to say about the former 24th overall pick.

Here’s to hoping this is just the start of a new great chapter for Delonte! Good luck!
