Social Media Is Blowing Up After Andy Reid Calls Game With Gutsy Play

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid just made one of the most ballsy play calls we have ever seen. In the waning moments of their game against the Browns, Reid faced a fourth and inches from midfield with Chad Henne as his quarterback, winning . The obvious decision would have been to punt and make the Browns go the distance of the field with no timeouts.

Reid wasn’t interested in that, though. Instead, Andy called an empty backfield passing play. Chad Henne delivered a strike to Tyreek Hill, and the game was over. Tony Romo lost his damn mind in the booth.

Social media was blowing up about Andy Reid’s decision.

What an amazing call this was by Andy Reid, and it proves why he is one of the greatest coaches of all time. He has his ways, and he’s not worried about the backlash he might get if his gut instinct doesn’t work out.

Andy Reid’s Chiefs will face the Buffalo Bills in the AFC Championship game in what will be one hell of a football game. Reid will hope to have Patrick Mahomes back to the title game after he left today’s game with what appeared to be a concussion.

If I had to guess, I’d say that Andy Reid will have Mahomes at his disposal next week.
