Talk about a red card.

Brazilian soccer player William Ribeiro has been charged with attempted murder after he violently kicked a referee in the head during São Paulo de Rio Grande’s match vs. Guarani de Venancio Airese on Monday.

It appeared he knocked the referee out cold after not getting a call..

See the violent kick below:

Ribeiro was arrested and taken into custody following the match.

The ref was knocked down, and then intentionally kicked in the head by a guy who trains to kick balls 12 hours a day for his entire life.

So was he trying to kill him?

Hard to say, but he was definitely trying to hurt him…
