Simone Biles’ NFL Boyfriend Jonathan Owens Reacts to Her Mental Health Issues

NFL player Jonathan Owens is sticking by his lady after she revealed she’s having mental health issues during the Tokyo Olympics. Biles did not pull out from the competition over an injury like some first suspected, but rather a “mental issue she is having.”

Houston Texans player Jonathan Owens took to the comments of Biles’ Instagram section Tuesday to show his support for his girlfriend.

Biles, 24, had written “OLYMPIC SILVER MEDALISTS I’m SO proud of these girls right here. You girls are incredibly brave & talented! I’ll forever be inspired by your determination to not give up and to fight through adversity! They stepped up when I couldn’t. thanks for being there for me and having my back! forever love y’all.”

“I’m so proud of y’all 🤞🏽❤️,” he commented on her pic with her teammates on the U.S. women’s gymnastics team, Sunisa Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Grace McCallum.

Owens and Biles were first linked as a couple in summer 2020 and went Instagram-official that August. They met when she DM’d him.
