Skye Nicolson, 26, is making her featherweight boxing debut against 3-0 Jessica Juarez Saturday night in San Diego, California.
Skye is a decorated amateur boxer who reached the quarter-finals in the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
She is the brother of deceased boxer Jamie Nicolson who died in a car crash with older brother Gavin in 1994, before Skye’s birth.
Here is her weigh-in from earlier this week.
The Australian has a tough matchup against undefeated Jessica Juarez who is 3-0 in her boxing career.
But if looks could kill, Skye seems like she will be able to hold her own inside, and outside of the ring.
I can’t lie, she definitely has me thinking that I will be switching back and forth between the boxing on DAZN tonight and UFC 272.
