Sean Miller enjoyed a lot of winning during his time as Arizona Wildcats head basketball coach. Unfortunately, he also carried a lot of baggage. Miller has been constantly under investigation due to recruiting violations. At the end of the day, Arizona decided that the ends didn’t justify the means as it pertained to Sean Miller.

Miller and the Wildcats announced earlier today that they would be parting ways after 12 years.

Sean Miller’s son, Austin, wasn’t too pleased with the decision.

“302 – 109, 73% winning percentage, 3x PAC-12 coach of the year, 5x PAC-12 conference championships, 3x PAC-12 conference tournament championships, FIBA U-19 gold medal, 2x sweet-sixteens, and 3x elite eights,” Austin Miller wrote on Twitter. “I wish Athletic Director Robbins luck in finding someone to fill those shoes.”

According to ESPN’s Woj, Sean Miller is expected to take his talents to the NBA, where he has interest to be an assistant coach.

Best of luck to Sean Miller on whatever the future might hold. Hey, at least nobody cares if you pay players in the NBA, right?
