According to a report, one NFL team is interested in making a big push to land Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in a trade this offseason

It’s no secret that superstar quarterback Russell Wilson wasn’t very happy with Pete Carroll and the Seahawks front office over the offseason. The QB felt that he has done enough to warrant being a part of the teams’ decision-making process.

The turmoil was so clear, that Wilson’s agent even gave a list of four teams (the Bears, Cowboys, Raiders, or Saints) that he would accept a trade to.

Luckily for Seattle, Russell Wilson is now preparing to be their starting quarterback in 2021, and the relationship appears to be getting better. At least for now.

Sehawks general manager John Schneider is even claiming that he never engaged with teams who were calling to try to acquire Russ.

“I never actively negotiated with anybody,” he told reporters today.

Whether Schneider’s declaration is true or not, we may never know. What we do know, is that Russell Wilson is the quarterback of the Seattle Seahawks. And that doesn’t appear to be changing any time soon.
