The Adam Gase trend has continued.

Ryan Tannehill left Adam Gase’s Miami team to find success with the Titans, and it appears that Sam Darnold is following the same storyline with the Carolina Panthers.

After working with Gase in New York, Darnold was traded to Carolina last offseason. And through three games as the Panthers’ QB1, Darnold looks like a more-than-adequate option.

As Sam Darnold was putting together a good performance against the Texans on Thursday Night Football, Adam Gase was getting dragged through the mud on social media.

Sam Darnold and Adam Gase gave were both sent out the door by the Jets after the season in favor of Zach Wilson and Robert Saleh.

With Matt Rhule as his mentor, Darnold looks much more poised and less reckless with the football.

For Sam Darnold, it was likely the best thing to happen to him being able to get out of New York and away from Adam Gase.

Will anyone hire Gase knowing what quarterbacks are capable of after being with him?
