New Orleans Saints DE Cameron Jordan is definitely happy about his teams defensive improvements this season, but he isn’t shying away from trying to recruit a QB and coach this off-season.

The Saints were thrown a curveball after long-time coach Sean Payton decided to “retire” in January.

Payton coached the Saints for 16 seasons, so this will be a huge change for the franchise.

The Saints are not just looking for a new coach, they are also trying to figure out what they will be doing at QB this season. The team dealt with 4 different starting QBs this season as the team saw Jameis Winston, Taysom Hill, Trevor Siemian, and even 4th round pick Ian Book.

Pro-Bowl DE Cameron Jordan was ready to get to recruiting players as he answered questions in Las Vegas this weekend.

Jordan was quick to say that if there was a QB who wanted to come early they may even have a chance at getting their own coach to come over with them to New Orleans.

Taysom Hill signed a new 4-year contract with the Saints in December with $21.5 Million guaranteed, but everyone knows that it was Sean Payton that had eyes for him. This team could easily have a fully-updated QB corp next year depending on which regime comes in.

Many reports have linked various open-market QBs to New Orleans such as Russell Wilson and Aaron Rodgers.

The NFL is going to be a fun place to watch this offseason with so many moving pieces, especially for teams looking for new QBs.
