Last week, the Chicago Bears filled their vacant GM and head coach positions with the hires of Chiefs exec Ryan Poles and Colts defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus to head their operation.

On Monday, Eberflus and Poles had their introductory press conference. And both men exerted confidence that a Super Bowl was coming during their reign in Chicago.

Ryan Poles took it a step further, saying that his team was going to dominate the NFC North for many years to come.

Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus have their work cut out for them. The Chicago Bears appeared to be heading in the right direction in 2018 — when they went 12-4 and won the NFC North in Matt Nagy’s first season at the helm. But since, the team has faltered, and they’re undoubtedly go through another transition period under the new regime.

Luckily for Poles and Eberflus, they already have their quarterback in place. And Justin Fields was present and took some questions about building a team that can rival the Packers’ dominance in the NFC North in the future.

There’s no telling whether or not Ryan Poles and Matt Eberflus will have successful tenures in Chicago. But their confidence should serve as some excitement for Bears fans.
