On Tuesday afternoon, an absolute bombshell dropped from Adam Schefter revealed that superstar QB Russell Wilson was being traded from Seattle to Denver.

After the dust settled, Russell Wilson took to social media to share his gratitude for the Seahawks fan base, as well as the entire city of Seattle.

Regardless of the abrupt ending, Russell Wilson gave his heart and soul to Seattle. And he’ll forever be a legend for the “12th man” fans of the Seahawks.

After being drafted in the fourth round, Wilson made a Hall of Fame career for himself in Seattle — proving to be one of the most dynamic quarterbacks we have ever seen in the NFL.

Russell Wilson will leave Seattle a Super Bowl Champion, Walter Payton Man of the Year Award winner, and nine time Pro Bowler. There’s certainly an argument that he’s the most accomplished player in team history.

Gone, but never forgotten.
