Russell Wilson Wants Everyone To Know That Him And Pete Carroll Are ‘Still Friends’

Russell Wilson crashed a Pete Carroll interview just to let everyone know where he stood with his longtime coach

It was a long offseason for Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll.

After the Seahawks quarterback revealed in an interview that he would like to be more of a part of the Seahawks’ decision-making process. And also that he felt he was sick of getting hit ‘too much’.

At one point, Russell Wilson’s agent even gave a list of four teams (Bears, Cowboys, Raiders, Saints) that he would welcome a trade to.

After all that, Russell Wilson is back at Seahawks minicamp, and he wants everyone to know that he is still close with coach Pete Carroll.

When Carroll was doing a press conference, Russell Wilson came crashing in just to let everyone know that he was ‘still friends’ with the longtime coach.

After Tuesday’s practice, Russell Wilson posted another message to his Twitter account.

“You know, playing on this team means a lot to me, ” Wilson said in the video he posted. “Winning means everything to me. I’m going to do whatever it takes to win and try to find a way to win every play, every moment, every second. That’s just in my blood. I think that at the end of the day, the real reality is that I’m here. And I’m here to win. I’m here to win it all.”

It sure seems like Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll are just as locked in on winning another championship together as ever.

The league should be on notice.
