Russell Wilson is aware of the chatter surrounding Antonio Brown, and he’s ready for his team to make a splash. Yesterday, Adam Shefter reported that the Seahawks were one of a few teams in on Brown.

Today, Russell Wilson came out in support of the potential signing of the embattled receiver.

“Most of the conversations I’ve had with most his former teammates and stuff like that said that he worked hard every day,” Wilson said via Pro Football Talk. “He came ready and I think he had a bad year or two there that didn’t go the way you want it to. I think that with our culture and how our culture is, with Coach Carroll, with the teammates that we have, the men that we have and the growth, I think, if he does play football, I think this is a great place. If he does play again, I think this is a place that he’ll grow a lot as a man as well.”

Wilson also said that Brown is, “one of the best in the game” and “hopefully he gets to play football again”.

This isn’t the first time Wilson and Brown have been connected, either. Over the summer, the two All-Stars were working out together.

It certainly seems like the Wilson-AB connection could be coming to a living room near you very soon.

If it were me, though, I’d pass on Antonio Brown. Is this guy really worth the headache. The Seahwks also have one of the better receiving cores with Tyler Lockett and D.K Metcalf. Adding AB to the mix would undoubtedly make them lethal, but at what cost? I guess that’s why I’m not getting paid to call these shots.
