Russell Wilson is investing in himself.

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson admitted that he spends a monstrous $1 million a year on his body. The former Super Bowl champion sat down for an interview alongside his wife Ciara. When asked if the rumors about his sizeable investment were true, the football star answered.

“Yeah, it’s a process. It’s a lifestyle. I think when you are trying to play as long as I’m trying to play. I’m trying to play until I’m 45.”

Of his 12-year goal, Wilson added:

“Yeah for me the mentality, the focus level, everything you have to do has to be surrounded by that. It’s been an amazing journey for me so far.”

What do you think of Russell Wilson spending $1 million a year on his body?

I mean it’s all relative, he does get paid very handsomely for throwing a football.

According to Spotrac, Russell Wilson signed a 4 year, $140M new money extension with the Seattle Seahawks back in 2019 that included a $65M signing bonus, $107M of total guarantees, and an average annual salary of $35M. At the time of signing this deal was the highest average paid contract, most total guarantees, and biggest signing bonus in NFL history.

So yea no big deal to drop a Mill a year.
