The Philadelphia Eagles have a big decision to make on head coach Doug Pederson. After winning the Super Bowl in 2018, Pederson has completely fallen out of favor in Philly. His latest decision to bench Jalen Hurts for Nate Sudfeld has everyone in Philly calling for his head.

It appears that they just might get their wish, and Doug Pederson could be fired. According to reports, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie isn’t sold on Pederson’s vision for the team’s future.

After this report came out, a wild one hit the web. Apparently the Jets might actually be considering trading for Doug Pederson.

“That talk about a coach being traded is whispers about Doug Pederson to the #NYJets”, Eagles beat writer John McMullen wrote on his Twitter.

This can’t be real…can it? I really don’t think Doug Pederson is a bad coach, but this move would be so unpopular for Jets fans. Pederson is simply a terrible fit for a Jets team that needs a young coach to come in with an offensive mindset. Doug Pederson is not that guy.

Even with the Jets being one of the most incompetent franchises in all of sports, I’d still be very surprised if they pulled the trigger on a trade for Doug Pederson. Never say never, though.
