Roger Goodell came out in support of the work the NFL has done to limit COVID-19 from impacting the games too much today. Yes today, the same day the Ravens-Steelers finally played after being postponed for six days.

“We don’t see the bubble as most refer to it in one location. We feel strongly our protocols are working. We’re willing to adjust and adapt those protocols, take additional steps. But I don’t see us doing the bubble in the sense that the media focuses on it,” Goodell said via Adam Schefter.
The key part of what Goodell says to NBC’s Mike Tirico is that he believes protocols “are working”. Yeah, I’m gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on that one, Roger. I just watched the Ravens go out there with RGIII as their quarterback on a Wednesday afternoon. If that’s your protocols working, then I don’t want to know what’s in store for the playoffs.
As expected, Goodell is getting trolled heavily on social media.

It’s pretty amazing that when Roger Goodell talks that money just doesn’t shoot out of his mouth.

Major sports commissioners in America are generally very hated people, but Roger Goodell takes it to a whole another level. Literally nobody had faith in this man to handle this pandemic very well, and he proved us all right.
Lets all just hope that we get NFL Playoffs in 2020, and that Roger Goodell doesn’t find a way to screw it all up.
