We here at Awesemo obviously take DFS very seriously. Players that most people have never heard of become household names to us as we live and die with each step they take on the floor. One of those household names is Isaiah Hartenstein, a backup center on the Rockets who was averaging just under 12 minutes per game over 23 games played this season. In most circumstances, Hartenstein is an afterthought in the DFS community. However, anytime Clint Capela was out for the Rockets, the 22-year-old German would be thrust into the DFS spotlight. Hartenstein would become chalk city.
I recently answered a question, “Describe a horror story from your specialty in five words or less.” There are countless options in DFS, but none more horrifying than “It’s Isaiah Hartenstein chalk night.” Sends fucking shivers down my spine. Will he play 30 minutes and break the slate at $3,000? Or will he get four minutes off the bench while we witness P.J Tucker get the start at center, and by getting the start at center I mean stand in the corner and do nothing? Only head coach Mike D’Antoni knows. The decision to fade or play Harteinstein is a maddening one, and is probably one you will be wrong about.
While you are cursing the name of Isaiah Hartenstein solely because Mike D’Antoni hates your DFS lineup, it is no consolation that Hartenstein’s girlfriend, Kourtney Kellar, is fire:
In conclusion, Isaiah Hartenstein does not give a fuck about your DFS lineup.
