In a surprising move, the Las Vegas Golden Knights traded away reigning Vezina Trophy winner Marc-Andre Fleury to the Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, making Robin Lehner the #1 option in Vegas heading into next season.

Marc-Andre Fleury was a fan-favorite in Vegas, so fans were obviously taken aback with the move. But some idiots proceeded to take out their anger on Robin Lehner.

Lehner has been open about his struggles with mental health in the past. And according to him, some people were using that against him.

Robin Lehner would follow up on his original tweet by continuing to be open about his struggles, while still maintaining his belief that he’s a damn good goaltender.

Throughout his career Robin Lehner has been a hell of a goalie, and he’s opened the door for many athletes to feel comfortable admitting that they’re not ok mentally.

The Golden Knights are in good hands with Lehner going forward, and I’ll be rooting like hell for him to succeed.
