Former Suns Player Rex Chapman Gets Trashed For His Take on The Robert Sarver Allegations

Former Sun and popular social media personality, Rex Chapman, was trashed for his take on owner Robert Sarver after the allegations hit the web

The Suns released a statement regarding a potential media investigation into the workplace culture of the franchise, denying that the organization or Sarver has a history of racism or sexism. The statement sent Friday, Oct. 22, 2021, said the organization is aware that ESPN is working on a story accusing the organization of misconduct on a “variety of topics.” The Suns responded by saying they were “completely baseless claims” and “documentary evidence in our possession and eyewitness accounts directly contradict the reporter’s accusations, and we are preparing our response to his questions.” (AP Photo/Ross D. Former Phoenix Suns guard Rex Chapman has created a second career (of sorts) for himself on Twitter. He’s often on social media posting a bunch of viral videos, political takes, etc. on a daily basis.

So when news dropped about the Suns owner Robert Sarver’s history of racism and misogyny, it was only a matter of time before Chapman weighed in.

Specifically, a story of Sarver using the N-Word repeatedly when speaking in relation to Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green turned a bunch of heads and led to an NBA investigation.

Check out what Rec Chapman had to say about his experiences with Robert Sarver.

Rex Chapman was immediately put in his place by people who reminded him that just because Robert Sarver treated him well, doesn’t mean the allegations against him aren’t true.

I think whether you like Rex Chapman’s daily content or not, we can all agree that it probably would’ve been for the best if he would’ve sat out the Sarver situation.
