Are we finally nearing the end of the Deshaun Watson investigation?

The star quarterback has sat out for the entire year while being investigated following the lawsuits filed by over 20 manage therapists who claim to have been sexually assaulted by the QB.

Per Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, a grand jury’s probe on Deshaun Watson should be wrapping up by the end of January.

“Per a source with knowledge of the situation, it’s currently believed that the grand jury’s work will be concluded by the end of January. Although the possibility of felony charges looms, Nicole Hensley of the Houston Chronicle points out that the warrants suggest that authorities are considering charges of indecent assault, which is a misdemeanor.”

Despite this probe nearing an end, it’s still entirely possible that that felony charges will be brought against Deshaun Watson for incident assault.

But for teams who are currently gauging the possibility of pursuing Watson in the offseason, the results of this probe will prove to be vital towards his value to the organization.

Watson has sat out for the entire 2021 season despite not being reprimanded by the NFL as of yet.

Will we see Deshaun Watson back on the field in 2022?
