The referees from the New England Patriots – Tampa Bay Buccaneers game are under fire tonight after some serious missed calls late in the game Sunday night.

Tom Brady lead the Bucs down the field to score a late field goal to take a 19-17 lead with just under 2 minutes left in the game.

That’s when it seems like the refs remembered where they were playing.

The Patriots got a gift of a call on a pass-interference call against Bucs Jordan Whitehead for 20 yards.

Here is a picture of the pass interference call:

Whitehead was reaching around Henry since the ball was thrown so behind him that Henry didn’t even know the ball was coming to him.

The refs then missed a blatant false start that would have pushed the Patriots back another 5 yards on their final drive.

The internet was not at all please with many voicing their opinions on how bad these refs were.

Needless to say, but all NFL fans know the refs blew those calls.

The Tom Brady lead Bucs managed to squeak out a 19-17 victory in Brady’s return to New England.

Brady did not impress by any standards, but he definitely did enough to get the job done. He completed 22 or 43 pass attempts for 269 yards, but no touchdowns.

The Bucs will face Brady’s familiar foe next week as they welcome the 1-3 Miami Dolphins to Tampa Bay.
