Ravens Late Touchdown Costs Steelers Bettor Insane Sum

While we just had a taste of Wednesday Afternoon NFL Football, someone else with much more invested in the game had more than their helping of agony sprinkled atop of the experience.

The bad beat you’re about to view is graphic and disturbing. Bettor discretion is advised.

The $170, 181.60 bet on Steelers -10 was placed at BetMGM, and was covering until Baltimore’s third-string quarterback Trace McSorley threaded a pass to Ravens top receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown on the outside right and juked three members of the Pittsburgh secondary to turn the play into a 70-yard backdoor cover for bettors on the Ravens +10 side of the point spread.

Certainly a strangely random number to be wagering (regardless of your bankroll), the additional $181.60 put down on the eventual bad beat was likely due to the fact that said gambler was going all-in on Pittsburgh to cover the -10 over the COVID-plagued Baltimore Ravens. And what a day to pull out all the stops on that decision.

Hopefully a bit of  silver lining for the bad beaten bettor is that they are capable of risking such a lofty amount to lose. Otherwise…it’s going to be a rough one to live down (and also hopefully not due to my advocacy).
