On paper joint practices seems like a good idea, and then the teams actually practice. Joint practices have become more popular in the NFL over the years but when you’re playing a game as physical as football some of these joint practices are bound to get heated.

The Los Angeles Rams and Las Vegas Raiders hit the field for a joint practice on Thursday and some of the bad blood that came about a day earlier rear its ugly head the following day.

It’s not the first joint practice this summer where a fight has broken out and it definitely won’t be the last. This is tackle football, it happens.

As a result of the fight, the Raiders wrapped up practice 45 minutes early while the Rams stayed and practiced alone.

Training camp problems.
