Rachel Uchitel Claims Tiger Woods Is Suing Her For $8M For Breaking NDA

Rachel Uchitel leaves her home in New York, Sunday, Nov. 29, 2009. The National Enquirer published a story alleging that golfer Tiger Woods, who was involved in a car accident near his home on Friday, had been seeing the New York night club hostess, and that they recently were together in Melbourne, where Woods competed in the Australian Masters. Tiger Woods former mistress is trying to stay in the news as best as she can. Rachel Uchitel, Tiger Woods’ former mistress, is claiming Tiger’s lawyers are going after her for breaking an $8 million non-disclosure agreement. Uchtiel recently talked about the affair even though she had signed an agreement not to speak out about their relationship. The agreement banned her from “directly or indirectly, verbally or otherwise” discussing the golfer’s “lifestyle, proclivities, customs, private conduct, fitness, habits, sexual matters, familial matters,” among other topics, with anyone, “including but not limited to, family members, relatives, acquaintances, friends, associates, co-workers, journalists.”

“His lawyers are saying, ‘We want all your text messages and here’s the price,’ and you’re like ‘Screw you’ and you move into deal-maker mode and all of a sudden, it’s the rest of your life,” Uchitel told The Times.

“I’ve had it with N.D.A.s,” she said.

Uchitel was paid $5 million and promised an additional $3 million over the next three years she says, if she kept quiet.

“Ten years later, people were still talking about me as a player in a story I had never talked about. I felt like it was time to take the reins,” she added.

Uchitel filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy and was granted protection from creditors early this year. But Tiger Woods’ attorneys are still on the case.

“If you get a job, I’ll come after your wages. If you get married, I’ll go after your joint bank account. I will come after you for the rest of your life,'” she said the lawyer told her.

I’m pretty sure no one feels bad for Rachel Uchitel.

She wasn’t pressured into signing the NDA, nor having an affair with a married man.

You reap what you sow.
