Instagram model Rachel Bush has taken to social media to stand up for her husband, Buffalo Bills safety Jordan Poyer. Despite a strong season, Poyer did not make the NFL’s Pro Bowl roster.
Bush has no filter, she’s made that very clear in the past. Bush often takes to social media to vent about politics, but today she’s going off because Poyer didn’t make the cut for the Pro Bowl. Here’s what Bush had to say about her man getting snubbed.
Complete bs honestly. https://t.co/0jN8ATO4AW

I could say a lot. Stats don’t lie. I swear it’s just a joke at this point. Lol over it.

Not much else to say. Biggest joke ever. 2020 the year of ignoring facts and stats I guess. 🤦🏽♀️Literally don’t understand how the best safety doesn’t make pro bowl because of the coaches and players portion of votes lol comical. https://t.co/JkLEG1vjKZ

Yeh that was it for me. I kept giving the Pro Bowl benefit of the doubt. Year after year hard work and the best stats continue to get ignored. A true PRO. But this year especially, that was it for me lol a big joke. https://t.co/34Oscf9wTP

While a Pro Bowl nod would have been a nice achievement for Poyer, I think he has his sights set on something bigger than that. The Bills are currently 11-3, and have a stranglehold on the AFC East. The team has emerged as one of the few real contenders who can stop Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs from winning back-to-back Super Bowls. Rachel Bush also acknowledged the fact that Poyer would prefer hardware over personal accolades.
Fact yes. 😉 But that doesn’t mean that it’s ok for his hard work to continuously get over looked. I want to know how some just completely ignore the best stats lol gotta be on purpose. No other explanation. https://t.co/CKcm1NA2RL

Rachel Bush has a point. Jordan Poyer leads a standout team with 117 tackles and two forced fumbles. He has also filled in as a team captain on one of the top units in the league.
Buffalo Bills defensive coordinator Leslie Frazier weighed in on Poyer missing out.
“We had a guy today who found out that he wasn’t selected to the Pro Bowl,” Frazier said via Syracuse.com. “I wanted him to know how valuable he is to our defense and what he’s meant to our team in 2020 and not to get caught up in some of those other things that are going on when it comes to Pro Bowl balloting.”
I have a feeling the 23-year-old Poyer will be playing in many Pro Bowls over the course of his NFL career. If not, Rachel Bush will have something to say about it.
