Rachel Bush, the wife of Buffalo Bills star Jordan Poyer, is often outspoken about her political views on social media. And on Thursday, she was quick to come to the aid of controversial musician Nicki Minaj.

Minaj recently caught some flak when she said that her cousin had refused to receive the COVID vaccine because his friend’s testicles were impacted by taking the shot.

“His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding,” Minaj, who has 22.6 million Twitter followers, said on Monday.

After Nicki Minaj backed up her original statement with an explanation on why she was skeptical about the COVID vaccine, Rachel Bush was there to agree with the sentiment.

Like Nicki Minaj, Rachel Bush has made her feelings about the vaccine known. And she has had a big problem with the NFL’s rules to put extra restrictions on unvaccinated players.

Dr. Anthony Fauci was asked about Minaj’s Tweet, and made a familiar plea for prominent people to stop spreading that type of misinformation on the internet.

“I’m not blaming her for anything — but she should be thinking twice about propagating information that really has no basis as except a one-off anecdote, and that’s not what science is all about.”

While Rachel Bush had remained adamant that she won’t get the vaccine, Nicki Minaj has said that she will do so in order to tour later in the year.
