According to a report, the Philadelphia 76ers are still now here near a potential trade for star point guard Ben Simmons with the Trade Deadline looming

The Philadelphia 76ers were taking calls on disgruntled point guard Ben Simmons all Summer long. But no team has been willing to jump at their ridiculously high asking price thus far.

Ben Simmons has maintained that he will not play for the 76ers this season, and some reports are indicating that he’s still willing to sit out the entire year if he isn’t traded.

But nonetheless, Shams Charania is reporting that the 76ers are remaining patient, willing to play the “waiting game” with Simmons.

Ben Simmons has not spoken publicly about his situation.

But everyday, we’re hearing more and more from Doc Rivers, Joel Embiid, etc. about the hiatus from the guard. The general consensus from the 76ers’ contingent is that they’re hoping to get Simmons back.

Now, it just comes down to whether or not Ben Simmons is really willing to leave a whole bunch of money on the table by sitting out.
