PGA Villain Patrick Reed Landed His Wife, Justine, After He Was Ghosted By Her Sister

Patrick Reed might be one of the most talented golfers in the world, but he’s also one of the most unpopular. After reports that he won’t talk to his parents, stole from teammates in college, and has had repeated issues with PGA rules, Reed is often looked at as the lone “bad boy” of the sport of golf.

Through it all, none of the noise seems to bother Reed very much. In fact, he kind of seems to thrive off of the negative attention.

Reed is very content being a guy that few people like. He has his wife, Justine, and he seems fine with her being one of few people in his corner.

In a recent interview with Golf Digest, Patrick Reed revealed that he actually had eyes on Justine’s sister, but moved on after he was ghosted.

“I was a freshman at the University of Georgia, and her younger sister, Kris, was at LSU. Kris came to visit, and we went on one date, and I texted her to confirm she’d made it back home safe. No response. So I reached out to Justine on Facebook, who confirmed her sister was back and got frank with me about why it was probably not going to work out,” Reed explained. “So I start talking with Justine, who I discovered is this incredibly driven person who was pursuing dual degrees while working to become a nurse. We kept talking as a couple of years went by; then we started dating. Best decision of my life.”

Patrick Reed and Justine seem to be happy. Even if their relationship started with Reed going after her sister, and then Justine swooping in when she had the chance.
