Penn State Coach James Franklin Put On Blast After Yet Another Loss

James Franklin’s Penn State Nittany Lions team came into the college football season with high aspirations. Championship aspirations. They were the seventh ranked team in the entire nation in the preseason. Needless to say, they are no longer ranked and their season is turning into a complete disaster.

The Nittany Lions lost another game today, this time 30-23 to a rebuilding Nebraska team. After an 0-4 start, it’s safe to say that Penn State fans are officially done with coach James Franklin.

With James Franklin having a hefty buyout of $38 million, I’m not sure he will be replaced as the head coach of Penn State anytime soon. However, he is starting to make it very clear that he might not be the man for the job. Remember, Franklin had a backfield of Saquon Barkley and Trace McSorley and couldn’t even win the big game then.

It’s too bad, too. Penn State was starting to look like they could be building back up to former glory. Now, it looks like the same old story of the past ten years for the Nittany Lions. Maybe they’ll be forced to ignore the money and send James Franklin packing sooner rather than later.
