During a recent appearance on a podcast, Urban Meyer opened up on how much different the jump from college to the NFL was after the Jaguars failure

The start to Urban Meyer’s tenure with the Jacksonville Jaguars hasn’t exactly gone as planned.

Prior to being blown out in Week One to an underwhelming Texans team, reports were begin to surface that players inside the Jaguars’ locker room weren’t too pleased with Meyer’s coaching style.

After practice on Thursday, Denver Broncos defensive end and former Ohio State Buckeye Dre’Mont Jones spoke on Urban Meyer.

When asked what his favorite memory of Meyer’s was, Jones pointed to an insignificant win over Michigan. He was then asked if he was surprised that Meyer wasn’t clicking with his players.

Dre’Mont Jones gave a convincing, “no”.

Even though he’s just one week into his stint with the Jaguars, many fans have been linking Urban Meyer to the USC opening.

Yesterday, Meyer said that there was “no chance” he was leaving Jacksonville to go take the USC job.

But if things continue to spiral out of control with the Jaguars, it might be in Urban Meyer’s best interest to weigh some of his options.
