Would Chip Kelly return to the Oregon Ducks?
Oregon is currently left looking for a new head coach after Mario Cristobal jumped ship to head home to Miami. And after the dust has settled, the Ducks are reportedly “making a push” to bring back Kelly.

“Oregon is making a push to bring back Chip Kelly as the Ducks’ head football coach, sources told ESPN on Thursday.
Kelly took Oregon to the BCS national championship game in 2010 and has strong support in Eugene. Kelly is in his fourth season as UCLA’s coach and entering what would be the final year of the five-year, $23.3 million contract he signed in November 2017.”
Chip Kelly could be headed back to Oregon, which would create a vacancy at UCLA. Which would keep the dominoes falling. https://t.co/CGykkOq9Wr pic.twitter.com/zvcjhCGk5D

Chip Kelly has been the head coach at UCLA for the past few years. And after a disappointing start to the tenure, the Bruins broke through in 2021 – going 8-4 and earning a spot in the Holiday Bowl.
During his time at Oregon, Kelly went 46-7, and brought the Ducks to three straight 12-win season before taking his talents to the NFL.
As wild as the college football coaching carousel has been, nothing would surprise me. And it makes sense that Oregon would try to pry Chip Kelly from UCLA given how much success he had with the program.
