One Team Reportedly Looking To Make A Move For Russell Wilson This Offseason

According to a report, one NFL team is interested in making a big push to land Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson in a trade this offseason

Here we go again with the Russell Wilson rumors.

After last offseason was filled with talk of the star QB growing frustrated with his organization, he gave his agent three teams he would have accepted a trade to at the time: the Bears, Cowboys and Saints.

Now, after missing out on the playoffs, the reports of a Russell Wilson trade are back. And on Friday, it was reported that the Broncos are preparing to make a run at Wilson if Aaron Rodgers makes his decision to stay in Green Bay.

After the season concluded, Russell Wilson held firm on his stance that he wants to be a Seahawk for the rest of his career.

“I love this city. I love this team. I left it all out on the field every play,” he said after the last game of the season. “I have always dreamed of being here in Seattle. I’ve always dreamed of playing 20 years here, and that’s my prayer.”

The Seahawks currently have little cap space to work with to fill an adequate Super Bowl team around Wilson’s talents, and perhaps they’re going to ultimately decide to bring in a plethora of draft picks to build a team around a younger quarterback.

At the end of the day, though, I think the Seahawks understand that their best opportunity at another trophy is with Russell Wilson under center. It’s doubtful that he’s going anywhere.
