It was no secret that Odell Beckham Jr. and the New York Giants were hanging on by a thread for a while there. Inevitably, they had their divorce, and both parties seem way better off without the other. Odell Beckham Jr. recently went on the All Things Covered podcast and opened up about the hardships of playing in the Giants organization.

Get in Some Sideaction:

Odell Beckham talked about how he felt the Giants failed to build an organization around Eli Manning, and how he thinks the Giants all but wasted the last two years of Manning’s career.

Odell also talks about how he felt that he wasn’t respected enough to be able to speak his mind to the media, or really at all. He goes on to say that he feels like he’s in a much better place now, and that he’s looking forward to competing for a Super Bowl.

It’s a good thing that Beckham is in better spirits, too, because he’ll need those good vibes to get through his current ACL rehab. Odell Becham Jr. will miss the remainder of the season, but is expected to make a full recovery prior to the 2021 NFL season.
