NFL Teams Are Reportedly Still Interested In Deshaun Watson Despite Mounting Allegations

Prior to the waves of accusers claiming that Deshaun Watson sexually assaulted them, the Houston Texans quarterback was actively seeking to be traded from the team. Now that the quarterback carries immediate baggage, you’d think the trade talks have died down, right? Maybe not.

According to reports, Deshaun Watson is still drawing interest from six NFL teams despite the growing number of lawsuits filed against him.

A report from Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle indicates that the Philadelphia Eagles, Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, Miami Dolphins, San Francisco 49ers and Denver Broncos are still showing interest in Deshaun Watson.

Now, being “interested” and actually pulling the trigger on a trade are two different things. I have a hard time believing that any NFL team would acquire Deshaun Watson at this moment.

It seems like we’ll have to wait out theses lawsuits before we can really determine what the future holds for Deshaun Watson in the NFL.
