The Olympic Village is a place that’s known for its wild ways, mostly related to sexual relations. According to Fox sideline reporter Laura Okmin, some athletes have crossed the line, and are inviting female reporters to their rooms. According to Okmin, she’s allegedly received “way too many” messages from female reporters who say they’ve been treated rudely after denying athlete’s sexual advances.
She then went on to say the time to be quiet is over, and sharing names will take place if necessary.

(as they are above me) when I deny them. Do you have advice on how to keep my confidence up?” ENOUGH. Stop putting women in this position. We are sharing stories and names. We know who you are. The old days of protecting you are over – we are now protecting each other.

Ladies, don’t go through this alone. Lean on a mentor (DM’s open) and your sisters. Don’t let anyone get into your head and touch your confidence. Share your stories. You have a support system of women who have navigated this – lean into that.

At the end of her rant, she made sure to send a message to those wrongdoers reading her message.
And finally. If you’re wondering if this tweet is about you…. It is.

Not surprised that these kind of things happen in the Olympic bubble.
Athletes have way too much testosterone and no where to release it.
We’ll keep tabs on this as more details unfold…
