According to reporter Josina Anderson, the New York Jets are planning to hire Saleh as their next head coach. This move would come as a little bit of a surprise, as many believed the Jets were going to hire another offensive-minded coach to take over their team.

ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter has confirmed the Robert Saleh hire.

To be honest, I think this would be a slam dunk hire for the New York Jets. Robert Saleh would bring energy, stability, and passion to a New York Jets team that desperately needs a culture shift.

If I’m a member of gang green nation, I’m hoping that Robert Saleh will be the next head coach of the Jets. He would be a full 180 from the Adam Gase regime, and the organization would all of the sudden look like less of a joke.

The New York Jets may have just made their best move in a very long time.
