Last night, during their weekly Instagram Live card break, Goldin Auctions Executive Chairman and Founder Ken Goldin and his son had a very special and unexpected guest. 76ers guard Seth Curry popped by to watch the card break and say hello! During the live event, Curry and Goldin had a short conversation. Curry said that he’d heard about Goldin Auctions and wanted to tune in.
Curry joins 09:45 mark.

During that very card break, Goldin and his son pulled an awesome Zion Williamson rookie card!
Curry is the latest pro athlete to take interest in Goldin Auctions. The company recently announced $40 million in funding with investors including Kevin Durant and DeShaun Watson. This comes as more athletes express interest in collecting their own cards as investments. In addition to current athletes, Ken Goldin has also represented legends including Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Shaquille O’Neal in the past.
Earlier this month, Goldin Auctions also shattered its own record for the most valuable sports memorabilia and collectibles auction of all time, at $45.2 million. It experienced its highest individual user participation ever and exceeded its all-time high for total number of bids placed by 35%. The company also experienced record highs for soccer collectibles, reflecting an increasingly enthusiastic international market.
The future looks bright for Goldin Auctions!
